Indian Concrete Institute ICI -Life membership
Indian Concrete Institute is one of the leading professional bodies in India, catering to the professional needs of individuals and organisations involved in Concrete. Being a non-profit Organisation, it is dedicated to the cause of Disseminating Knowledge on Concrete, to Promote Concrete Technology and Construction and to address the Research Needs of Concrete.The Genesis of ICI dates back to the year 1982.
Today ICI is a strong professional body having more than 14, 500 enrolled members, from 47 regional Centres in all major cities, spread across the entire length and breadth of the country. Of these, more than 381 are Organisational Members. All segments of cement and concrete industries are widely represented in the membership. To meet the objectives of ICI, the regional Centres conduct varieties of programs like Seminars, Workshops, Conferences, Exhibitions, etc. throughout the year. These are at both National and International level. These events prove to be a unique platform, for all the stakeholders in the concrete industry, wherein Practicing Engineers, Manufacturers, Academics, Consultants and Researchers make their global participation, to discuss the issues, to share their views and experience on the concrete related matters.

Builders’ Association of India (BAI) was founded in 1941, during the World War-II, under the guidance and blessings of Brig. C.V.S. Jackson, the then Chief Engineer-Southern Command. The main reason behind formation of this Association was to understand the problems and the difficulties faced by the contractors during the construction of time-bound military works.

National Academy of construction NAC operations are in the area of skill development, skill upgradation and capacity of buildings of all types of human resources, exclusively for construction industry. NAC conducts trainings for unemployed youth, workers, tradesmen, construction engineers, contractors, managers, supervisors and technicians to develop skill and inculcate professionalism.

The Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC), has been set up jointly by the Planning Commission, Government of India and the Indian construction industry. We are an umbrella organization for the construction industry in India and have a national presence with branches across the country.
